# Cobalt Caverns - Rules ###### Revision 0 Thanks for reading the rules, don't worry there aren't many! For further clarification, check the FAQ. ## The Basics If you read and understand these rules, you'll be alright. Scroll down for more detail. 1. **No Random Griefing** - Don't grief other player's builds without a reason. This will be delt with on a case-by-case basis. This does *not* include non-excessive stealing or killing. 2. **No Hacking** - This means that you can't use any mods or resource that give you a serious unfair advantage, this includes x-ray but does not include minimap and waypoint mods. 3. **No excessive language or hate speech** - This means you can swear, but spamming chat with profanity or using hate speech is not allowed. 4. **Players may not bypass minimap restrictions** - The server disables cave mode on most popular minimap mods. Getting around this restriction is not allowed. Entity radar and waypoint features are allowed. ## Details There are some situations were certain rules could be broken without punishment. There are a few listed below, but rule violations are handed on a case-by-case basis by moderators. This list is *not set in stone or exhaustive:* 1. Destroying another player's blocks is allowed if someone has placed them very close to or in an area it is generally accepted that you control. Placing blocks in someone else's area with the intent of ruining what they've made is also griefing. 2. Stealing is allowed, but stealing via griefing is NOT allowed. This means that you can take something from somebody's chest, but you can't for example destroy their beacon, break their chests, or tear down their base looking for items. ## Rollbacks If your base is griefed, you can contact a moderator in game or through Discord to have it rolled back. If the grief was unjustified, the griefer will also be found and banned. If you do not want to have your base rolled back, you don't have to contact anyone.
